I need some feedback from YOU! I have a couple of questions I would LOVE to hear from you to see what your thoughts are:
1. Do you have any books that you recommend for raising a baby. It can be on ANYTHING. (baby food, developmental milestones, advice, etc)
2. What advice would you give to learn how to balance being a wife, mom, friend, worker, etc?
WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!!
Oh, and so would Addie!

I'm so not a mom...BUT my current career is a parenting consultant and I love making recommendations about the stuff I've learned...
I recommend any of the Positive Discipline book by Jane Nelson (she has them tailored to parents of children 0-3, preschoolers, teens, etc.) for general guidance.
A great great book I recently found addresses parenting as well as the ever-growing relationship with God. I do not like his writing style, but the info was so good I got over it. Anyway, it's Loving Our Kids on Purpose by Danny Silk. I just can't say enough good things about the church he's at. I've grown so much in my understanding of how God interacts with us in learning about parenting, and it was great to see him lay it all out from that perspective.
hey girlfriend-- I really enjoyed "The Happiest Baby On The Block" for the newborn stage! I'm going to read "The Happiest Kid (or child, I don't remember?) On The Block" soon!
Also, www.wholesomebabyfoods.com for baby food was the best resource I found for making homemade baby food. It was a life-saver, especially since I can't cook!
Balancing is a constant battle. Something always takes the backseat when too much focus is in one area. I think that a good amount of "me time" or "quiet time" can keep everything else in check.
